Chandigarh(Narinder Jagga): Even the figure of poor result of class 10th is a little, but the Education Department is going to seek explanation call from such schools. List has been prepared of these Schools. 60 Government Schools have zero percent result and 104 Schools have result up to 10 percent marks. More than 50 percent Schools have result 60 percent above of marks. Overall, the result has increased approximately 5 percent as compared to last year.According to information, out of 60 Schools with Zero percent result, 36 are in Tarataran district, 14 in Amritsar district, 2 in Gurdaspur District (All border districts), 3 in Kapurthala district and one each in Moga, Ludhiana and Pathankot districts. Except these, there are 103 Schools, which have result 1 to 10 percent marks only and among these 81 Schools are from border districts including 36 Tarantarn district. Tarntaran is on the top among the poor performance. But the 104 Schools, which have 100 percent result, there are only 7 Schools of bordering districts, while Mukatsar, Ludhiana, Kapurthala and Bathinda are on the top of four districts. Notable, there are 3545 Government High Schools across the State.41 percent jump in Primary Schools result.
Chandigarh-The result of ‘Pado Punjab-Padhayo Punjab’ campaign has made a high jump. The baseline analysis has been conducted of Primary classes from Class first to fifth for 2017-18. According to information, the target achievement, which was 29.85 percent in 2017, has gone to 71.51 percent. While subject-wise achievement was: Punjabi from 35.53 to 72.95 percent, Math from 32.40 to 79.43 percent and English from 21.57 to 62.48 percent. This project had been started in August 2017 in all the Primary Schools of 217 blocks across the State.
